Bollywood took my mom away from me: Abhimanyu Dassani opens- up about his mother Bhagyashree’s filmy career

-

Bhagyashree, who is popularly known for her role in Maine Pyaar Kiya opposite Salman Khan, has acted in several Bollywood films and enjoyed a good journey in the television industry as well. Didi Ka Dulha Apna Bana Lu, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Kaagaz Ki Kasti, Laut Aao are a few TV shows she was a part of. While the actress has taken a back seat from acting, her son, Abhimanyu Dassani, has followed her footsteps and is set to debut in B- town with Vasan Bala's Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota. The 29- year- old is currently busy promoting his film with co- star Radhika Madan, who made her Bollywood debut with Vishal Bharadwaj's Pataakha last year.

Abhimanyu Dassani's debut project is scheduled to release on March 21 and the actor is going all out to spread a word about the same. In an exclusive interaction with BollywoodLife, both Abhimanyu and Radhika got candid and revealed a lot of interesting stuff. It was surprising to see the two of them being honest AF. When we met Abhimanyu, we asked him about the advice which his mother gave him and his fond memories of Maine Pyaar Kiya.

Abhimanyu revealed it all and spoke about Bhagyashree's stint in television and films too. Just like any other momma's boy, Abhimanyu was very protective of his mum and didn't like seeing her with anyone else. Elaborating on the same, the actor added, "I hated mom on television. I was so protective and possessive about her that I couldn't see her talking to someone else, be someone else's. I was like she is my mother, she has to be right next to me. Films were taking my mother away from me, so I detested films for a long time." Well, we understand the young lad's emotions as every child wishes to have their mother by their side.

However, now that he has stepped in front of the camera, Abhimanyu Dassani's busy promoting Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota which promises a visual treat and is touted as Desi Deadpool.
