40 questions with Saiyami Kher

-

Saiyami Kher bedazzled us all recently in her portrayal of a lower middle class working woman who miraculously finds money flowing out of her sink in Choked. From the Dadar market sarees to her being an industrious homemaker who knows her way around a hundred household hacks, to the easy camaraderie she has with her neighbours, she had it all down pat in this dark comedy directed by Anurag Kashyap. This resurrection of sorts first with Choked, then with the series Breathe: Into The Shadows, has brought the smile back on the face of this bubbly girl whose debut film Mirzya failed to hit the mark at the box office. Saiyami is a sports buff and thanks to her passion, doesn't have to go out of the way to acquire that athletic frame. She's as happy wearing-down her shoes out running as she's walking the ramp or facing the camera. We ask the chirpy lass some rapid-fire questions and she hits back with some witty replies.
