Tiger 3: Here's how Emraan Hashmi is prepping for his role in the Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer [Exclusive]

-

Quick on the heels of Rohit Shetty's cop universe, Yash Raj Films is planning a spy universe, bringing together Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's Tiger series, Hrithik Roshan's War and its next sequels, and Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming Pathan in multi-spyverse. Now, such big movies and big plans and big interconnected franchise no doubt need big names to pull it all off, and keeping that in mind, a source has not only revealed to BollywoodLife that Emraan Hashmi has been approached by YRF to play the main villain in Tiger 3, but has also divulged some inside scoop on how he'll possibly prepare for his role.

Our source revealed, “YRF felt that Emraan fits the role

Word is also there that Salman Khan is expected to have a cameo in Pathan, alongside Shah Rukh Khan, which is the production house's next spy action-thriller, this paving way for the third installment of the Tiger series.

Coming to Emraan Hashmi in Tiger 3, the criminally underrated actor is expected to join the shoot of the movie from March itself, when the film is likely to go on floors, mostly in the third week of March. The first schedule is expected to take place in YRF studios itself, the second, in the Middle East, while the third is being planned somewhere in Mumbai, for which a big set piece is being envisaged. of March, with the rst schedule at YRF, followed by a second one in the Middle East, and the nal leg at a huge set that will be

constructed somewhere in Mumbai as a T. He is a fine, intense actor and that quality won him the role. Emraan is beefing up for the role. He always had an athletic body, but this time he’s going to be all bulked up. He’s going to start training for the role for some massively choreographed, hand-to-hand combat scenes between him and Salman Khan, for which Emraan is also expected to train in martial arts.”

This also means that unlike its all-time blockbuster, Tiger Zinda Hai, where the relatively new Sajjad Delafrooz was cast as the lead antagonist and aced the part, YRF is going for a more bankable name this time around, and it makes sense though given the direction in which the studio is intending to take their spy universe forward.
