Alaya F is on cloud nine with all the adulation and praises that are being showered on her for Jawaani Jaaneman. Bollywoodlife.co m got in touch with the actress and she spilled the beans on her family's reaction to the film and her recent wins for her debut.

Alaya F made her debut with Jawaani Jaaneman which also starred Saif Ali Khan and Tabu in the key roles. The actress won several hearts with her debut. And despite the lockdown and the pandemic, the masses are still recollecting the movie and heaping praises on Alaya. BollywoodLife.com got in touch with Alaya F who bagged Best Powerful Performance Female at the BollywoodLife.com Awards 2021 and also bagged the Best Debut at the Filmfare awards held a couple of days ago. Alaya F is on cloud nine with all the adulation and praises that are being showered on her. We got in touch with the actress and while talking to her, we would hear her grinning from ear to ear.

“I am feeling very grateful and very happy. Last year I was super excited and ready to take on whatever was in store for me and then the lockdown happened. But now I have finally been getting the feedback and getting to attending the wonderful award shows and meet so many people and get back to work. Losing a year of your career when you are only one film old in the industry was quite disappointing, but all the disappointment goes away when you hear so many good things about your work and the film,” Alaya F told us.

When asked about the masses still grooving to the tracks of Jawaani Jaaneman and appreciating the film, she said, “It’s a very, very, good feeling that it’s still there and that people still remember, appreciate and want to celebrate and support you. Even though this lockdown, it was due to their support and love that I felt, that it was okay. Everyone who had seen Jawaani Jaaneman was so supportive and loving in every way and that was a very good sense of assurance and security for me. I felt that as soon as I get back to work, I have to work just as hard or even harder and hopefully do something that people would love to celebrate and support.”

When asked about her family’s reaction to the multiple awards wins for her performance as Tia in Jawaani Jaaneman, the actress said, “They are just so happy, I can’t even begin to tell you how happy they are. Both my parents were crying when they saw the award. I have never seen them that happy. I don’t think when my film came out they were that happy. My parents are the most important people I have in my life. They will always be supportive of me, but I had never seen this level of excitement from them ever. My grandparents, my nana (Kabir Bedi) was so happy.” Alaya F also revealed that her friends from New York have been sending her congratulatory messages too. She also added that she received so many messages that she hadn’t received for all her birthdays combined. Teehee.

When asked Alaya F revealed that right from Saif Ali Khan to producers. “He’s always lovely and always supportive. We had a very sweet conversation where we were congratulating each other,” Alaya said.
