Aanushka Ramesh

Born and brought up in Mumbai in a cosmopolitan family, I never really nurtured any dreams of acting. I belong to an academic family of doctors and engineers and was planning to pursue my MBA when purely destiny brought me into the field of acting. Initially I took it up as just an interest but as I delved deeper i realised that I am actually very creatively inclined and have a passion for acting. It was only after my first Punjabi film Canada di Flight that I got really serious about acting. Until then I had done few ad campaigns, modelling, music videos etc to try my chances, but then I decided to seriously pursue it as a lifelong vocation. Following which I did my acting graduation from New York Film Academy as I wanted a proper degree as a trained actor. It was an amazing experience which I will cherish forever. Currently I am awaiting my Bollywood debut film Mangal Ho, and have also recently done a calendar shoot in Dubai post lockdown as well as an ad campaign for Roopam Stores, commercials for Kwality Walls, Lays Chips etc and my latest music video Mohabbat Ho Gayi Hai which sung by Jazim Sharma and lyrics by Farhat Shahzad and awaiting some upcoming projects as well.
