Inadequate sleep and sleep deprivation do affect the health of the hair. The body is under stress when there is lack of sleep and stress can lead to hair loss. The body also does not synthesise nutrients properly, especially protein, which is very necessary for hair growth. The repair and restoration work of the body take place when we sleep, which is necessary for good health.
