CHITRA BANERJEE DIVAKARUNI is an Indian-American author, poet, and the Betty and Gene McDavid Professor of Writing at the University of Houston Creative Writing Program—she writes about her epic inspiratio­n in ‘Hit and Myth’ (pg 140), while NONITA KALRA, a veteran journalist and former editor of Elle, asks ‘How Much Is Too Much?’ (pg 145) when it comes to beauty. Former managing editor at Elle and People magazines, SHRADHA SUKUMARAN has interviewe­d Angelina Jolie, Julia Roberts, Nicole Kidman, Katrina Kaif, and Kareena Kapoor over the years—she adds our cover star Chitrangda Singh (pg 164) to her list. Fashion and celebrity stylist NITASHA GAURAV has, in other lifetimes, been an editor, writer, and critic. She picks up the pen for this edition of Bazaar Man and decodes Ranveer Singh (pg 8). Renowned fashion photograph­er PASCAL CHEVALLIER, whose images have graced countless magazines, gets candid with our cover girl Chitrangda Singh (pg 164). Self-taught photograph­er SURESH NATARAJAN lenses actor Ranveer Singh for the cover and inside feature of Bazaar Man (pg 8).
