As­tudy called ‘What Ails In­dia’ stated that hy­per­ten­sion is among the most com­mon di­ag­no­sis re­ported by the physicians in In­dia. Also, 21% of those di­ag­nosed with hy­per­ten­sion were un­der the age of 40. It is very sad to know that such a large num­ber of young peo­ple in In­dia suf­fer from hy­per­ten­sion, a con­di­tion of ab­nor­mally high blood pres­sure.
