After a heart procedure

Health & Nutrition - - SELF CARE -

Talk with your doctor about cardiac rehabilitation if your physician doesn’t bring up the subject first. Don’t put rehab off, because you may never get around to it. Follow the nutritional advice from your healthcare provider, even if it means cutting back on some of your favourite foods. Get up and exercise every day, if you can. If you follow the advice of rehab specialists, and build up your strength and endurance slowly, exercise will be good for your heart and not dangerous.
