Besides being the Technical Director, he is also the head of Pharmacovigilance & New Product Development (NPD). In a short tête-à-tête, Rohit shares with us Vitabiotics’ vision and explains the role of vitamins in our life…

Can you share with us the ideology behind Vitabiotics and the ‘Wellness’ range of multivitamin products? Vitabiotics products are designed to provide maximum efficacy by supporting the human body in its own natural processes. We are the pioneers in nutrition research and have brought new vitamin concepts in the market. For example, we were the first company to introduce magnesium alongside vitamin D3 for calcium absorption, with the launch of our calcium tablets called Calcimax in India. We were also the first to introduce the right level of folic acid for pregnancy, 400ug, much before the Department of Health made the official recommendation for pregnant women.
