Ac­tor, host and dancer, Jay Bhanushali is a tness freak, and very par­tic­u­lar about his diet too.


My Diet…

“As soon as I wake up, I have hot wa­ter with le­mon and honey. Break­fast com­prises oats with milk or an omelet with one slice of bread. Af­ter an hour, I have a pro­tein shake with six al­monds and two wal­nuts. My lunch con­sists of brown rice or quinoa. At 4.30 p.m, I have my pre-work­out drink, af­ter which I work out for a while. I have a pro­tein shake post-work­out. Din­ner is around 8.30 p.m which in­cludes grilled mush­rooms and sal­ads. At 10.30 p.m, I have my pro­tein shake again with a fruit. “I avoid salt af­ter 6 p.m and re­place it with le­mon. For ex­am­ple, I sub­sti­tute salt with le­mon in veg­etable, as le­mon cuts the fat. “I am very calo­rie con­scious. The calo­rie cal­cu­la­tor app helps me mea­sure what goes into my mouth.”

My Cheat Food…

“When­ever I feel like cheat­ing, I cheat. My cheat food is sushi and white sauce pasta.”
