Peo­ple some­times skip break­fast to re­duce calo­rie in­take to bet­ter man­age weight. How­ever, in a new study, peo­ple who ate healthy break­fasts man­aged their weight bet­ter than did break­fast skip­pers. The study fur­ther sug­gests that go­ing light with din­ner may help even more with weight main­te­nance. Break­fast qual­ity is a ma­jor fac­tor in weight main­te­nance. If you’re a break­fast eater, aim to in­cor­po­rate at least two of the fol­low­ing groups into your morn­ing meal – whole grains, fruits, veg­eta­bles or healthy fats.
