1. Tree Pose aka Vrikshasana
Vrikshasana is a yoga pose that concentrates on building mental focus and body balance. The asana helps one build better concentration equipping one to set healthier goals and targets. Practicing this pose, balances one fully, thus helping them to become thoughtful and aware of their actions, including selecting food that they consume. Stand with hands folded above your head. Lift one foot and place it on the knee of your leg. Practice the pose with your eyes closed for 30 secs on each foot.
This is a very powerful pose which helps the entire digestive system, and can be practiced on a full stomach. It eliminates the chances of stomach evils like constipation, ulcers and acidity, helps one feel light and in turn, helps one move steps closer towards healthy eating. Sit resting your buttocks on your heels and your thighs on your calf muscles. Place hands on your knees and try sitting in this asana for up to 30 minutes at one go.
