Health & Nutrition - - READERS’ PULSE -

The article ‘Too Much Of A Good Thing’ (November 2018) was an eye opener for my close friend and me. Through the suggestion of an acquaintance, we replaced our daily dose of green tea with a mix of giloy, ginger and tulsi tea. Though I didn’t have the same satisfaction as with the green tea, I continued with high hopes. But I realised after reading your article that these so called safe and immunity booster herbs may give rise to complications if taken in excess. I told my friend also to read the article and stop drinking it immediately. The terms ‘Phubbed’ and ‘Piloxing’ from your other articles also enriched my vocabulary. Thanks for acquainting us with new terminologies and phenomena. Bina S Kshatri, New Delhi
