Talk About Mental Health
Arecent study found that couples who were more open about mental health reported increased relationship happiness. Anxiety and depression were listed as the most common mental health issues on the survey, and couples who were not open about mental health showed they had less happy relationships.
The study found that more than four in 10 couples – 44% – are affected by mental health issues, such as ADHD, anxiety and depression. Anxiety was also the most common mental health issue respondents reported followed by depression. Those who said they were unhappy in their relationships also said they are not able to discuss their mental health issues with their partners.
