Policy notified for regularisation of illegal colonies
MOHALI:To bring all unauthorised colonies into the fold of planned development, the Punjab government, on Thursday, notified its policy for compounding of unauthorised colonies and regularisation of plots and buildings in these colonies.
“Colonies that have been developed before March 19, 2018 shall be regularised under the policy,” a spokesperson said.
Developers or Resident Welfare Associations of the unauthorised colony can apply for regularisation. The housing department will be offering facility of submitting online applications. Online applications would be received on the web portal www.punjabregularization.in.
Assistance in submitting the applications shall be provided to those applicants who are not conversant with the process of applying online.
