CONTEMPT OF SC ORDER

The Supreme Court order on Sabarimala Temple allowing entry of women of all age groups to the most popular Hindu shrine in the state has been inappropriately executed. There has been contempt of an SC order, at least in this case. While there can be no interference in laws of nature, we need to realise the man-made laws and rules have to change with times for a progressive society. India must learn to respect laws and move towards greater equality. PPS Nagpal, Ludhiana
