VAISHNO DEVI PILGRIM DIES, 3 OTHERS INJURED IN BUS MISHAP

JAMMU : A pilgrim bound to Vaishno Devi died and three others were injured after a bus they were travelling in hit a barricade in Reasi district on Thursday.

A police official said, “Around 6.15am, the bus (UP13AT/ 8585) on way to Katra from Jammu reached Moori Naka when the driver lost control of the vehicle and it hit a barricade causing injuries to three people.”

Khajuru, 40, of Rajipur in Haryana, died and Mahesh Kumar, 28; Sonu Kumar, 28; and Mithan Lal, 50; all residents of Shikarpur in Bulandshahr of Uttar Pradesh, were injured.

The injured were shifted to government medical college and hospital.
