Constituen­cy: Sangrur A sitting MP, the stand-up comedian-turned-politician won the seat in 2014 by 2.1 lakh votes. He was AAP’s state chief, but resigned in protest against Kejriwal’s apology to SAD leader Bikram Majithia in a defamation case.

SADHU SINGH

Constituen­cy: Faridkot A Panjab University alumnus, he defeated SAD’s sitting MP Paramjit Kaur Gulshan by 1.72 lakh votes in 2014. Despite nonstop infighting and frequent upheavals, he has remained loyal and is a member of the all-important Political Affairs Committee.

NARINDER S SHERGILL

Constituen­cy: Anandpur Sahib A former sarpanch of Jhingran Kalan village in Kharar, he joined the party in 2014. Shergill was fielded from SAS Nagar in the 2017 assembly elections. He came second with 38,971 (28%) votes.

KULDEEP SINGH DHALIWAL

Constituen­cy: Amritsar One of the five zonal in-charges of the AAP in Punjab, he belongs to Jagdev Kalan village and had joined the party in early 2015 after returning from the United States. His family lives abroad.

DR RAVJOT SINGH

Constituen­cy: Hoshiarpur A medico by profession, Singh contested the 2017 assembly election from Sham Churasi reserved seat. He polled 42,797 (35%) votes, losing by 3,800 votes in a close fight. He has been rewarded for unflinchin­g loyalty to Kejriwal.
