Body of missing girl recovered, stepfather held

NURPUR BEDI: The body of a six-year-old girl of Bangala Basti in Nurpur Bedi, who had gone missing under mysterious circumstances during Lohri festivities on January 13, has been recovered from a well. Khushi’s stepfather Sanjeet confessed during questioning that he had murdered the girl and threw her body into a well, said Anandpur Sahib deputy superintendent of police Raminder Singh Kahlon. He has been arrested.
