Bhagwant Mann (AAP)

A satirist-turned-politician, Bhagwant Mann is the sitting MP. He won the seat by 2.11 lakh votes. He had unsuccessfully contested against Rajinder Kaur Bhattal as the People’s Party of Punjab (PPP) candidate from Lehra in 2012.

Simranjit Singh Mann (SAD-Amritsar)

A known pro-Khalistan face, Mann, who quit IPS in protest against Operation Bluestar, was elected to Lok Sabha from Tarn Taran in 1989 and Sangrur in 1999. He heads the SAD (A), a breakaway faction of SAD.
