Kewal Singh Dhillon (Cong)

A businessman-turned-politician, he is considered close to CM Amarinder Singh. Dhillon is a two-time former MLA from Barnala. He won the seat in 2007 and 2012, but lost to AAP candidate Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer in 2017.

Vijay Inder Singla (Cong)

A former Sangrur MP, he is PWD in the Congress government. He represents Sangrur in assembly. Singla had won LS seat in 2009, but lost to Bhagwant Mann in the 2014 polls. Considered close to Rahul Gandhi, he is keen on entering national politics.

Baldev Singh Mann (SAD)

A long-time protégé of former CM Surjit Singh Barnala, Mann served as a cabinet minister in his government. He, along with the former CM’s son Gaganjit Singh Barnala, joined the SAD in the run-up to the 2017 state assembly polls.
