CONSTITUENCY PRIMER

The constituency came into existence in 2008 following delimitation. The southern Haryana Lok Sabha seat was carved out by merging almost the entire Mahendergarh district and parts of Bhiwani and Charkhi Dadri districts. The constituency has a sizeable Jat and Ahir population and comprise five assembly segments of Bhiwani district and four segments of Mahendergarh district.

2014: Dharambir Singh (BJP) win by defeated Rao Bahadur Singh of INLD by 1.3 lakh votes

2009: Shruti Choudhry (Cong) win by 55,000 votes

2004: Kuldeep Bishnoi (Cong) win by around 24,000 votes
