HANG THE HOOCH MAFIA

Lessons were never learnt from the past and yet another hooch tragedy occurred in UP. Had stern action been taken and the government introduced capital punishment when Kalanwali hooch tragedy occurred in 1980 in Sirsa, Haryana, this could have been avoided. Since excise officials, politicians, police and the hooch mafia run a nexus, the menace goes unchecked. The supreme court must direct the government to implement capital punishment for culprits.
