As a Union cabinet minister, Rao Inderjit participated in 21 debates and laid 41 papers on the table of the House. In his previous tenure, he raised issues related to two toll tax barriers on NH-8. He also asked questions pertaining to setting up of the central university in Haryana, completion of the Delhi-Jaipur expressway, toll plazas in his constituency, water sharing and setting up of the National Defence University.
