The Supreme Court has done a commendable job by asking Mayawati to refund the public money spent on statues by her government. This wasteful expenditure benefited nobody and it was aimed at to gain political mileage. Instead of doing something for the public, she gave priority to statues. Perhaps her tenure as the CM will go down in the history as the worst.
