Claiming ‘kurki’ order credit

Speaking during the debate on governor’s address, Akali MLA Harinder Chandumajra gave credit to his father Anandpur Sahib MP Prem Singh Chandumajra for passing orders stalling action under Section 67-A of the Cooperative Societies Act, 1961, in 1986 when he was cooperation minister. The section according to Harinder entails ‘kurki of property’ of loan defaulter farmers.
