REGULATION OF URBAN AREAS
■ The Haryana cabinet approved the amendment in the Haryana Development and Regulation of Urban Areas Rules, 1976.
■ As per the amendment, the rate of extension fee per acre for allowing further time period for construction of community sites will be Rs 10 lakh in the hyper potential area forming part of the development plan of Gurugram-Manesar Urban Complex, Rs 9 lakh in areas forming part of development plan of Faridabad-Ballabhgarh Urban Complex, part of Sohna Development Plan falling in Gurugram district, areas forming part of development plan of Gwal Pahari and Rs 7 lakh in the periphery controlled areas of Panchkula, Sonepat-Kundli Urban Area Complex and Panipat.
■ For medium areas, the rate of extension fee per acre for construction of community sites will be Rs 6 lakh, for low-I areas Rs 5 lakh and for low-II areas Rs 4 lakh, an official spokesperson said.
■ The time period for renewal of licence has been extended from existing two years to five years.
■ The licence renewal fee has been increased from existing 10% to 20% of licence fee for licences wherein part completion certificate is yet to be granted and from 2.5% to 5% of licence fee for licence wherein part completion stands granted.
