PUNJAB GOVT STAFF TO GET ENHANCED DA WITH FEB SALARY

CHANDIGARH: The Punjab government on Thursday issued the orders for release of dearness allowance (DA) and dearness relief at the rate 6% to its employees and pensioners. The enhanced DA would be released with February’s salary and pension, according to instructions sent by the finance department to all heads of departments, deputy commissioners and commissioners of divisions. With this increase, the rate of dearness allowance would be revised form the existing 132% to 138% with effect from February 1.
