Gita Mahotsav: Khattar on 3-day visit to Mauritius
HARYANA CM CALLS ON MAURITIUS PM PK JUGNAUTH AND DISCUSSES POSSIBILITY OF COOPERATION BETWEEN MAURITIUS AND HARYANA
CHANDIGARH:Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Thursday made a courtesy call on Mauritius Prime Minister PK Jugnauth at Port Louis in Mauritius and discussed the possibilities of cooperation in different areas between Mauritius and Haryana.
Khattar is on a three-day visit to the island nation to attend the International Gita Mahotsav. He thanked Jugnauth for organising Gita Mahotsav in Mauritius and expressed the confidence that such events would be organised in future as well.
The chief minister told Jugnauth that besides the cultural sector, Haryana and Mauritius could jointly move forward in such areas as tourism, sugar industry, food processing, textile, electronics and information technology. In sugar industry, Mauritius has state-of-the-art technology, which can be used in Haryana.
