HERITAGE ON WHEELS
As a part of the month-long heritage events being celebrated by the railways, the Ambala division will run a 113-year-old steam locomotive between Shimla and Kaithlighat on the UNESCO World Heritage Kalka-Shimla rail section on Friday. Schoolchildren from Shimla will be given a joyride on the locomotive and also be told about its importance, coaches and heritage section.
