E-WAY OPERATOR OBJECTS TO CNG PUMP NEAR TOLLS

GURUGRAM: The Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway concessionaire on Friday objected to the setting up of a compressed natural gas (CNG) filling station just 100 metres from the Kherki Daula toll plaza, citing rules prescribed by ministry of road, transport and highways (MoRTH).

Millennium City Expressway Pvt Ltd (MCEPL), the operator of the project, said the CNG pump will lead to congestion at the toll plaza. The work on the CNG station had commenced on Monday morning. This CNG pump should have been set up at least one kilometre away from the toll plaza, as per NHAI rules. We are going to write to the highways authority,” said S Raghuraman, CEO, MCEPL.
