Candlelight march held in Sirsa, Hisar
HISAR: Various organisations on Friday took out a candlelight march in Hisar to protest against the Pulwama terrorist attack where 44 soldiers of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were martyred.
The Bar Association of Hisar local court suspended work on Friday. Former Bar president, Kalam Singh said “There was a big security lapse resulting in the death of our 44 soldiers. To protest against terrorism, we have decided to suspend work on Friday.” Colonel Chander Reddu, a local resident, said, “The attack is very tragic and to pay tribute to the martyred, we are taking out a candlelight march in Hisar.
The march started from red square market and went across various parts of Hisar.” A candle light march was also held in Sirsa.
DANCE BEFORE SELJA RALLY CREATES FLUTTER
Meanwhile, the Parivartan rally of Rajya Sabha MP Kumari Selja was in the eye of storm after a video of a woman giving a dance performance at the venue of the rally, just before it started at Ratia town of Fatehabad, was widely circulated on social media.
