Stones thrown at train

JAIPUR: Some people threw stones at Kalka Express going from Kalka to Barmer on Sunday and an inquiry has been ordered into the incident, railway officials said.

North Western Railway chief public relations officer Abhay Sharma said the incident took place at 11.30am between Surpura and Deshnok stations in Bikaner district. He said stones, pelted at both sides of the running train, hit the B-1 third AC coach. “A glass window on one side of the coach got cracks; a stone made a hole in the glass on the other side of the coach.”HTC
