AHEAD OF LOK SABHA POLLS, 22 POLICE OFFICERS SHIFTED IN GGM
GURUGRAM: In yet another reshuffle in the police department, 11 station house officers (SHOs) , four crime investigation agency officials, and seven others posted at Police Lines and the cyber cell were transferred on Monday by the police commissioner.
This is the second reshuffle in the department this year ahead of Lok Sabha elections, police said.
On Saturday, as many as 290 police officers, including 36 from Gurugram, were transferred by the state government.
Assistant commissioner of police (crime) Shamsher Singh said, the inspectors who have completed three years of their tenure at one place in district have been moved. “It’s a routine process ahead of the upcoming elections,” he said.
