Four held for cattle smuggling in Panipat

KARNAL: Police have arrested four people of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday for allegedly smuggling 159 cattle comprising of goats and sheep in a truck in Panipat. The accused have been identified as Wasim Ahmad Bhatt of Pulwama , Jamaluddin of Ramban, Altaf Khan of Srinagar and Sahanban of Jammu and Kashmir. Investigation officer Ishwar Singh said the accused were booked under section 11 of Animal Preservation Act.
