CURFEW RELAXED FOR 3 HRS

JAMMU :The curfew in Jammu, which was imposed on Friday, was temporarily relaxed for three hours in some parts of the city from 2pm on Monday, an official said.

“The relaxation period passed off peacefully and no untoward incident was reported during that time. After accessing the situation on Tuesday morning, a call will be taken for further relaxation”, Jammu DM Ramesh Kumar said. However, restrictions under Section 144 remained imposed on public gatherings in the areas during relaxation.
