25 pvt buses impounded in Gurdaspur

CHANDIGARH: The Punjab transport department on Sunday impounded 25 buses in Gurdaspur for flouting norms. A department spokesman said the buses belonging to big private players were operating without paying the taxes and were not following time schedule. Baldev Singh Randhawa, regional transport authority in the district, said action was taken against the buses belonging to private companies, including Rajdhani, Dabwali and Libra Transport.
