Extortion racked busted in Hoshiarpur, 3 held

JALANDHAR: Hoshiarpur police busted an extortion racket allegedly being run by the three Bathinda-based men who demanded ₹ 8 lakh from a city-based jeweller. Hoshiarpur SSP Amneet Kondal said police have arrested the three accused, Akashdeep Singh, Sukwinderpal Singh and Gagandeep Singh, residents of Bathinda district, and also seized ₹ 1 lakh from them.
