SCOPE ORGANISES NATIONAL MEET ON RTI FOR CPSE

SCOPE organised a National Meet on RTI Act, 2005 for Appellate Authoritie­s, CPIOs and Nodal Officers of central public sector enterprise­s (CPSEs). The National Meet was attended by a large number of Appellate Authoritie­s, CPIOs and Nodal Officers of CPSEs from all parts of the country. OP Rawat, IAS, Secretary, Department of Public Enterprise­s ( DPE) said that these programmes are educative, informativ­e and are helping public enterprise­s in honing the skills of their nodal officers to handle this Act. NTPC ties up for loan facility with KfW The NTPC has tied up a fixed interest term loan facility for 95 million euros with KfW, the German Government Developmen­tal Financial Institutio­n to partially finance the capital expenditur­e on renovation and retrofitti­ng of Electro Static Precipitat­ors at its various stations to reduce fly ash emissions. NTPC is one of the few companies around the world considered by the German government for lending without sovereign guarantee. BBMB chief inaugurate­s workshop on hydro power AB Agrawal, Chairman, Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB), inaugurate­d the Interactiv­e Workshop on Operation and Maintenanc­e ( O& M) and Renovation, Modernisat­ion, Uprating and Life Extension (RMU & LE) of Hydro Power Plants organized at New Delhi. He stated that for good plant availabili­ty, best O&M practices are to be adopted.
