33kg spurious ghee seized in Muktsar

MUKTSAR: The food and supplies department on Friday seized 33kg of spurious ghee in Muktsar. The department conducted a raid on the complaint of Progressive Dairy Farming Association (PDFA). The spurious ghee was being sold under the brand name of Verka. Sandeep Kumar, deputy manager, marketing, Verka said: “The ghee was spurious and we are filing a complaint with the police.”
