Former MP Congress chief files nomination
BHOPAL: On the last day of filing of nomination, former Madhya Pradesh Congress chief Arun Yadav filed his nomination papers from the Budhni assembly seat in Sehore district on Friday, vowing to upstage CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who won the last election by garnering nearly 70% of the votes. In a surprise move, Yadav’s name was announced on Thursday night. Congress leaders say this was part of a strategy to ensure Chouhan remains confined to his traditional seat that he has held since bypolls in 2006.
