Afridi, Zaman help Pakistan beat NZ in second ODI

ABU DHABI : Pakistan comprehens­ively beat New Zealand by six wickets in the second day-night ODI here on Friday. The threematch series is now levelled 1-1. Opting to bat, New Zealand managed 209/9 in their 50 overs . Ross Taylor top-scored with a 120-ball 86 and Henry Nicholls made 33 off 63 balls and together added 75 for the fifth wicket to lift their team from 73-4. Pakistan paceman Shaheen Shah Afridi took 4/38. In reply, Pakistan cantered to the target in just 40.3 overs, thanks to an 88-ball 88 by Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam’s 46.
