EVOLVE CODE OF CONDUCT FOR PARLIAMENTARIANS

Protests and walkouts have become so commonplace in both Houses of Parliament that hardly any time is devoted to meaningful debate on important issues. Equally unfortunate is the rising tendency among MPS to use un-parliamentary language as was exemplified by the comments against the Union defence minister. It is important to evolve a new code of conduct for MPS and ensure its strict adherence both in Parliament

and in the public sphere.
