VIRBHADRA SHOULD HAVE BEEN GRACIOUS

It is politically unwarranted as also detrimental to the interests of the Congress party that a senior leader like Virbhadra Singh denounces and condemns the outgoing Congress president, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, by highlighting his alleged failures, as has happened in Himachal Pradesh. Courtesy demanded that the ex-cm should have counted one or two of Sukhu’s good works also to motivate party cadre and to inspire them to meet new challenges. Such negative attitude of the former CM is likely to damage solidarity in the party and may also sharpen the existing vertical division among warring factions. This means advantage BJP.
