Tejpal Singh is AAP’S Ludhiana nominee
CHANDIGARH: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), on Sunday, announced Tejpal Singh (32), an assistant professor, as its candidate from Ludhiana parliament constituency. Core committee chairman Budh Ram and party’s state unit president Bhagwant Mann announced his candidature. Tejpal joined the party as a volunteer and is currently serving as the vice president of the party’s youth wing in the state.
In 2014, the Supreme Court advocate lawyer and activist Harvinder Singh Phoolka had contested from Ludhiana and stood second.
The party at that time was struggling to fill in his shoes from the Lok Sabha constituency. With candidate on the seat announced, the party has declared candidates on all 13 seats in Punjab.
