Later the leaders decided that they will reassemble on September 13 to chalk out their further course of action. Meanwhile Bains filed an application in the court of the Gurdaspur district sessions judge seeking bail and the court has fixed September 12 for hearing on his application.

LIP MEMBERS DEMAND WITHDRAWAL OF ‘FALSE’ CASE
AMRITSAR : The leaders of Lok Insaaf Party on Tuesday staged a protest in Amritsar against Punjab chief minister (CM) Captain Amarinder Singh for registering a ‘false’ FIR against Bains.
Over 80 members of LIP, led-by party’s Majha president Amrik Singh Varpal, gathered at the Hall Gate, here at 12 noon and burnt the effigy of chief minister. While raising slogans, the protestors also alleged that the CM has registered the FIR as Bains had challenged the closure report of alleged Ludhiana city centre scam in high court.
Varpal said Bains did not using any abusive word against the DC and rather he was eager to help the family members of blast victim.
