2.7L ADDICTIVE TABLETS SEIZED IN BARNALA

BARNALA : Police have seized 2.7 lakh habit-forming tablets after arresting a drug peddler from Badbar bus stand in the district on Friday. Senior superintendent of police (SSP) Harjit Singh said, “We have arrested an accused Kewal Masih; his accomplice Jatinder Singh managed to flee.” The accused claimed, “I was lured into the racket. I am just a daily wager; Jatinder offered me ₹5,000 to accompany him.”
