■ Hotels, restaurant­s, bars and other hospitalit­y services

■ Cinema halls, shopping malls, gymnasiums, swimming pools, entertainm­ent parks, theatres, auditorium­s, assembly halls

■ All social, political, sports, entertainm­ent, academic, cultural, religious functions, other gatherings and large congregati­ons

■ All religious places and religious congregati­ons

WHAT’S LIKELY TO OPEN

■ As per the central government’s directions, all other activities will be permitted except those specifical­ly prohibited under the guidelines

■ Local and interstate bus service

■ Intercity movement of people and vehicles without passes

■ Markets on sector-dividing roads and Sector 17

■ E-commerce activities for non-essential goods

■ Restaurant­s permitted to operate kitchens for home delivery of food items

■ Sports complexes and stadiums, without spectators

■ Cycle rickshaws, auto rickshaws, taxis and cab aggregator­s

■ Barber shops, spas and salons

Chandigarh is a Union Territory, and directions of the ministry of home affairs will be followed. The final decision will be taken by the UT administra­tor. Status quo will continue till formal orders are issued by the administra­tion.
