Sindhu, Srikanth in last-8, Saina out

BASEL: Indian shuttlers PV Sindhu and Kidambi Srikanth advanced to the quarter-finals of the Swiss Open. While world champion Sindhu hardly broke a sweat to beat USA’S Iris Wang 21-13, 2114, former world No.1 Srikanth notched up a 21-10, 14-21, 21-14 victory over France’s Thomas Rouxel. But Saina Nehwal bowed out, losing 16-21, 21-17 21-23 to Phittayaporn Chaiwan of Thailand.
